2nd Annual Tri-County Growing Edible Education Symposium

Participants will learn from local leaders and see model programs first-hand during Farm to School bus tours.  Hands-on, engaging workshops will equip participants to develop and grow Farm to School programs in the classroom, farm, garden, and school cafeteria.  Come ready to learn, network, share best practices, and actively build our Farm to School Movement!   Educators, foodservice staff, administrators, farmers, and community leaders are encouraged to attend.  Early-bird registration opens June 1st!

Third Annual Growing Edible Education Symposium

The Third Annual Growing Edible Education, (GEE), Symposium will be held in San Luis Obispo at Rancho El Chorro Event Center March 2nd & 3rd, 2018. The GEE Symposium unites diverse stakeholders such as schools, outside agencies, and farm businesses to promote and support farm to school activities. Participants will learn and share how to grow "edible education", while discovering best practices on teaching students about food and nutrition.
