Sacramento Area Farm to School Programs

There are a number of Farm to School initiatives taking place in the Sacramento area. The UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program plays a role in coordinating many of the efforts. Here is a sample of recent releases from SAREP: UC SAREP researchers find farm-to-school programs shift students' diets. If given a choice of fresh fruits and vegetables, children will eat them, according to a University of California study.
