The ASES after school farm to school program is an emerging local food program in Buena Park. Buena Park home to Knotts Berry Farm and located in the middle of a historic farm region is working to expose BP school children to innovative agriculture and food education. Using an adaptation of Harvest of the Month, called HOTM 100 Buena Park is working with the Center for Food & Justice to source local foods, provide healthy after school snacks and teach children how to make healthy food choice.
