The K-8th grade students at Chico Country Day School grow and harvest a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs from our edible garden. We also have a California native garden on our campus. Students participate in weekly garden classes and our after school program also offers a garden club and cooking class for students. The success of our garden is dependent on the tremendous support we receive from our families, staff, administrators, and community volunteers. We are grateful for grant funding from Western Growers' Foundation, Lowe's, the Chico Horticultural Society and the CSU Chico Center for Nutrition and Activity Promotion.
