Webinar: Introduction to the New Web-Based Prototype Application for School Meals

FNS is hosting an informational Webinar to introduce its first ever Web-Based Prototype Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals! This new model application incorporates research-backed design features intended to reduce applicant error that can lead to improper over-certification or mistaken denial of program benefits.  It was built to illustrate and advance the development of integrity-focused, user accessible, web-based application design.
During this session, FNS will provide a walkthrough of the application’s layout and design features and highlight how the application’s downloadable, open source program code (free-to-use) may be modified for use by any school district, State agency, or software vendor. Ongoing technical assistance and support activities will also be discussed, including time for audience Q+A.
